Principal's Message

The fall having ended, I look back and marvel at the success that our students had. Our volleyball team, field hockey team, girls’ soccer team and football team all won league championships. And of course the field hockey team went on to the state finals and the football team celebrated at Gillette.  These teams only tell part of the story when it comes to student success at Nashoba. Best Buddies, with an assist from NHS, took home a spirit award earlier this fall and Student Council is stoking school spirit in any number of ways. This Friday we celebrate the holiday season with concerts by our Holiday Pops Band and our Choir.

Even more meaningful than the wins and the applause is the manner in which students represent Nashoba. Enthusiastic, hard-working and passionate are some of the words that come to mind. Thank you to those who step in front of a crowded auditorium or deliver the news in front of a video camera every Friday. Students take a chance when they choose to actively represent their school because there is no guarantee that all will go well. But, as the saying goes, no risk, no reward. By choosing to use your talents you give us, the adults who work with you each day, a lot to be proud of.

I hope that your choices can act as an example for others. Get involved. Take initiative. Collaborate to create something bigger which can make Nashoba an even better place. We look forward to seeing what you can do.
