Discover and Learn Playgroups:

FREE Playgroups are offered weekly in Bolton, Lancaster and Stow for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Our playgroups follow the Scholastic Big, Big, World curriculum, incorporate themes, crafts, story time and circle time. They are led by NRSD Preschool teachers and held in Pre-K classrooms and outdoors when possible. The weekly playgroups allow children to make meaningful connections with peers, develop social skills, and participate in educational activities that enhance early literacy and language development. Free ~ Space is Limited ~ Registration is Required.

Open Playgroup: (Temporarily Suspended)

The last Monday of the month we host a drop-in playgroup in Bolton at the Emerson Wing of the Florence Sawyer School.  The playgroup will use the classroom, outdoor playground and/or gym.  Parent/caregiver must remain with their child and supervise play.  Free ~ all ages welcome ~ registration not required.

Parent/Caregiver Educational Workshops:

We provide educational opportunities for families that strengthen knowledge of child development across all domains, including intellectual and cognitive, social and emotional, physical and motor, as well as speech and language. As well as evidence-based parenting programs that enhance families' capacity to support their children's development. Workshops are announced via our email distribution list and various locations throughout our communities.

Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ):

~ FAMILIES ARE ACTIVE PARTNERS IN THEIR CHILDREN'S LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT ~

The Ages and Stages questionnaires help to ensure your child is off to the best possible start. It's a useful tool to help families learn how their child is learning and growing.  The more you know about your child's development today, the more you can support their future success!   It takes 10-15 minutes to complete.  Please contact us today for your questionnaire or a link to complete it online. We look forward to hearing from you! Contact:  Liz Garreffi, Early Childhood Coordinator/Team Chair, 978-779-0539, ext. 3008.   What is the ASQ-3?  ASQ 3 Learning Activities Packet
